An OPCA ‘Injured Poodle’ Public Service Announcement on behalf of our super nice friends at Oklahoma Orphaned Poodle Services – Poodle Rescue*:
Imagine being “just a wee bit thing” – smaller than a new born baby – vulnerable, and languishing alongside of a highway… all four pounds (4lbs) of you just lying there with a crushed paw… until someone notices… stops… and compassionately picks you up and travels along with you… holding you… telling you “It’s going to be all right, there’s a place with BIG HEARTS… BIGGER THAN EVEN YOU!.” That place, is Oklahoma Orphaned Poodle Services – Poodle Rescue (a.k.a., OOPS). That “just a wee bit thing” is ROMEO – a 4lb sweet mature neglected toy poodle found on the highway with a broken ankle. And they could both use our help!

Thank-you, Miss Elita, for mentioning our newest injured baby! When I think about the 30+ poodles we now have in our rescue, I often think that the ones we have from the puppy mills have the greatest scars of all, the ones we can’t pay to have fixed. However, this poor little guy has surely suffered so much, but he is still full of the capacity for love. It’s wonderful that he will now spend the rest of his life with a loving family, it makes it all worthwhile.
Oh Miss CINDY!!!! I have been experiencing many delays… on account of… on account of… Momma being confined in to… to… to… the BIG bed… and THAT has had all matters of concern here at the House of OPCA … making (m.e.) doing EVER more astonishingly important things in ADDITION to keeping a squirrel’s eye surveillance on that sham of a sham artist the alien-dust-moppy thing!!!! How is Mr. ROMEO doing??? Momma wants to know if he has all the $$$ raised to help him get rehabilitated and ready for the Poodle Winter Olymics!!!!!
